This gravestone is carved from silversheen obsidian and has a tiny heart carved into the front of it. The sheen in this stone is absolutely gorgeous! The bracelet itself is a heavy chain, with each link cut and forged by hand - no pre-made chain in this one! One end of the chain is finished with a hook claps and the other has a handcrafted heart link.  The backside of the gravestone is stamped with a heart and my maker's mark (BLJ) Each ring in this bracelet is soldered shut for a safe, secure hold. All metal used in this piece is sterling silver.

The total wearable length of this bracelet is 9", with the hook clasp able to fit through any link in the chain.

Like fine silver, sterling silver does tarnish over time. Exposure to chemicals can affect the appearance on silver (like hand sanitizer, pool chlorine, some soaps, etc.). It is not recommended to wear sterling silver jewelry while bathing or swimming for this reason. If it tarnishes, sterling silver jewelry can be cleaned with cleaning cloths or solutions that are labeled as being safe for silver. If your jewelry has stones in it, please only use with a cleaner that is labeled as safe for stones as any other cleaner could potentially damage them.
